A perimeter is just how big the sides of a 2-D shape are. Easy, right? So as you can see, all the sides on the pentagon are 3 inches.
Well, how do you find a perimeter you ask? Its simple. All you have to do is measure all the sides and then add them up. In this case, your equation would look like this; 3+3+3+3+3=15. 15 in. would be the perimeter for this shape. That is how you do it! Simple.

A perimeter of a circle is called a circumference. You can find the circumference by finding the middle point and measuring the point to the edge of the circle(below).
